Swimming and Table Tennis in district 2

The last two contests that HORIZON joined in District 2 Sport Tournament System took place on 11/01 and 12/01. The students have shown their fantastic talent when they won 11 medals  for Horizon school.

The Swimming took place on 11/01:

-          Phung Quoc Vinh student in Grade 6A  excellently won gold medals in both free style swimming and butterfly swimming for males in grade 6-7.

-          Nguyen Khanh Lam student in Grade 6A  excellently won silver medal in free swimming and gold medal in butterfly swimming for females in grade 6-7.

The Table tennis took place on 12/01. All of the students in Horizon school took part in the contests: primary single male, primary single female, secondary single male,and secondary single female.

-          Primary single male : Lieu Phan Phuc Minh in grade 3A won a gold medal and student Ho Hien Long in grade 4B won a silver medal.

-          Primary single female: Nguyen Thi Quynh An in Grade 5A won a gold medal.

-          Secondary single male: Doan Ly Minh in grade 8A won a silver medal, and Truong Thanh Ha in grade 9A won the bronze medal.

-          Secondary single female: Nguyen Thi Hong Vy in grade 6A won a silver medal and Le Tran Nguyen Thao won a bronze medal.

From 07-10/01 the District 2 Sport Centre organised the Basketball Tournament for District 2 primary students. Primary male team of Horizon school reached the third place when they lost to Nguyen Hien primary school in the semifinals.
