VIASM Math Open Day 2018

On the 4th of November 2018, Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) has organized a Math Open Day (MOD) 2018 and Horizon International Bilingual School, Hanoi was one of its partners in this event.
VIASM was founded by renowned Prof. Ngo Bao Chau, who was the first Vietnamese national to receive the Fields Medal at the International Congress, and Horizon is proud to have had one of the largest delegations of students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills at MOD 2018.
As a school, we invited all of our students and parents to come and join the Math Open Day 2018. Entrance was free of charge, open for everyone, and visitors had a chance to challenge themselves with different types of math games, puzzles and enjoy interesting projects in which maths was applied.
We believe that it was a good opportunity for students to become engaged with Mathematics.
