Science is like an looking-glass which makes us see the beauty and harmony around us as well as in our own beings. We marked that point with the “Science Week” event which was held on 9-13 April, 2018 with a theme of “Science is Fun”.
The week featured many competitions and fun activities such as T-Shirt Design, Creative Drawing, Catapult Making, Chemistry Poem Writing, Chemistry Magic Show, Notice Board Decoration and some others.
Every subject as in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Science was given a day of their own to facilitate their own activities. There were activities during the snack and lunch beak, and on the last day of the week we hosted a “Science Festival”.
The students from the Primary to High School really enjoyed the week and had an opportunity to improve their understanding of Science by participating in activities, and were also able to develop their social and personal skills such as “working as a team”, “taking responsibilities”, “being innovative and productive” and some others.
The participants and the winners of the competitions received their certificates and medals after the week during the “Science Week Awarding Ceremony”.
We thank school administration, teaching and non-teaching staff and of course our beloved students for their tremendous efforts to make the week so enjoyable and memorable.
