On Friday 6th April 2018 at 5:30pm, Horizon held a celebration festival for 1st graders. It was a READING FESTIVAL.
All Grade 1 students, parents and teachers took part in the festival.
After 30 academic weeks, Horizon 1st graders were very confident on stage reading their English and Vietnamese sentences in front of their mums, dads and family.
All students read a Vietnamese poem and an English story very well, showing that they’d made great improvements throughout the school year.
The students read loudly, clearly and the pronunciation was excellent for their age. Encouragement was given from the parents who clapped, and to the teachers through feedback. It was a great success for all grade 1 students.
To mark the special occasion and capture moments of the students’ happiness and parents’ pride there was a photographer present.
Enjoy the rest of the year Grade 1!
