The “Read to Growth” project has been organized for many years at Horizon International Bilingual School, where we hope students confidently present themselves in studying activities at the school.

The “Read to Growth” project has been organized for many years at Horizon International Bilingual School, where we hope students confidently present themselves in studying activities at the school.
 
Time: From 20/11/2017 to 08/12/2017.
Participation: all students (Primary, Secondary, and High schools)
 
Activities:
  • Exhibition of drawing their favorite book covers.
  • Book exchange
  • Hand writing contest
  • Book presentation contest
All students were highly enthusiastic to join “Reading Week”

Young artists drew and colored beautiful book covers to demonstrate in the school yard.
The book exchange programme spread many kinds of  books to students. A hand writing contest was held for both Primary, Secondary and High school students where they were required to write beautiful letters. In conclusion, 9 students were given awards.

A book presentation contest was held on Saturday morning on December 12th 2017. This was one of the activities of  Reading Week. Two excellent students in each class, creatively gave a presentation about a book that they had read. They confidently introduced the interesting book to other students, teachers and parents. Students were also given the opportunity to creating a cultural atmosphere bringing joy to everybody. This contest also had the participation of parents who supported and encouraged students to present well. 9 students were awarded presents and certificates from Horizon International Bilingual School. A book is a good friend, and students grow up with books. Horizon International Bilingual School youth continues to spread the reading habit to the community.
