In order to build a collective spirit, a loving fatherland and support the students’ practice of observing skills using the combined knowledge of History, Geography, and Biology subjects, students at Horizon International Bilingual School organized the Dong Thap trip to learn and have a practical experience.
Travelling to Dong Thap, students stopped to visit a Cacao Factory at “Kimmy’s Chocolate Village”, listened to a tour guide presenting on the cacao sources and the cacao manufacturing process from raw material to chocolate products. The students picked up cacao, tried eating cacao and cacao products like chocolate.
They took a tour around Xeo Quit Resort which is a natural environment with a diversity of 170 plants like Cajeput, Reed, Lotus, and the Water Lily, as well as 200 wild animals including 13 species in the Red Data List, such as the Python Molurus Bivittatus, Ptyas Mucosa, Otter (Lutrinae), and Cuora Amboinensis Kamaroma. That is why the people call Xeo Quyt a “mini Dong Thap Muoi”.
Students were really interested in this trip.
