School year 2017 - 2018 has come to a close, and Horizon International Bilingual School, Hanoi celebrated it with all gusto on May 22, 2018 at the Au Co Art Centre in Hanoi.
School year 2017 - 2018 has come to a close, and Horizon International Bilingual School, Hanoi celebrated it with all gusto on May 22, 2018 at the Au Co Art Centre in Hanoi.
With special guests from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the Tay Ho Education Department, from the Department for Scientific Management and International Cooperation, and even the Tay Ho Police Department, along with members of the Board at Horizon, alumni, parents, and friends, the students from the different grade levels provided everyone with so many reasons to smile and rejoice for the year that had just passed. Songs were sung, and there were dances, playing of recorders, guitars, and piano recitals, too!
Mr. Vugar Babayev (School Principal and Academic Director ), Mr. Ông Lê Ngọc Quang (Hanoi DOET), Ms.Nguyễn Thị Thu Hoài (Vice Principal for Secondary and High School, and Grade 12 student Lương Khánh Linh delivered congratulatory messages and expressed gratitude to all who played a significant role in this achievement. The theatre was filled with heartfelt words, warm spirits, and joyful applause.
Graduates from Kindergarten, Grade 5, Grade 8 International, Grade 9 Bilingual, and Grade 12 jubilantly tossed their grad caps in the air in a breath of pride in their accomplishments mixed with excitement over what lies ahead. Even teachers and staff were awarded for their loyalty and dedication of 10 years of service to the school. Parents came on-stage and gave out presents and flowers as tokens of appreciation for the school’s role in molding their children’s character. It was undoubtedly a momentous occasion for all. 3 cheers for the 2018 graduates and their parents! Hurrah!
