On Thursday the 17th of May, the students of Horizon International Bilingual School went on an adventure to Dam Sen Park led by a tour guide. The students, teachers, and parents boarded the bus and set off for the theme park. Once inside the park, the first stop was the merry-go-round which was soon followed by the Ferris wheel. The views of Ho Chi Minh City from the top of the wheel were spectacular.
Next up was the monorail. Sitting aboard the train, we were given another great overview of the park and decided to head to the ice sculptures next. With spirits high, this was the highlight for many of the children. Being able to enter a warehouse which was filled with enormous ice sculptures of famous buildings was a real treat. It was soon time to warm up again and the students were led to the bird garden to learn about a variety of the animals housed in the park. From there it was a very quick stop off in the haunted house. Many of us took a look inside and decided to head to lunch instead.
With all the students refueled, we queued for the fantastic 4D cinema experience. With time drawing in, we ended the day on a high by visiting the roller coaster ride. What a great day! The primary school boarded back on the bus, tired, but full of stories to take home to their parents.
