A Night to Remember

Parents and teachers of Horizon International Bilingual School came together to greet the new school year on the 26th of August, 2017 for Back-to-School Night.

Mr. Vugar Babayev, School Principal, eagerly presented to parents some of the innovations the school has undertaken to better achieve its goal of molding students into confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, engaged, and principled citizens.

These include  a subscription to the MyON Reading Programme which gives students access to a wide range of reading materials suited to their age, ability, and interests, the integration of technology through the use of a variety of web 2.0 applications which promote collaborative and proactive learning, and the implementation of Naviance, a programme designed for career readiness, which will aid older students in discerning their options.

These are only some of the things that both students and teachers can look forward to this  school year, and parents showed such enthusiastic support as they met their children’s teachers and closed the evening with interaction over dinner.
