VIETNAM TEAM trained by HORIZON WON GOLD and BRONZE MEDALS in ICT PROJECT COMPETITION in ROMANIA

An ICT team that represented Vietnam and trained by Horizon International Bilingual School has won gold and bronze medals in an International Informatics Project Competition organized by Lumina Educational Institutions, the Ministry of National Education of Romania and ISMB.

An ICT team that represented Vietnam and trained by Horizon International Bilingual School has won gold and bronze medals in an International Informatics Project Competition organized by Lumina Educational Institutions, the Ministry of National Education of Romania and ISMB. The aim of the competition is to encourage young people to apply their imagination, passion, and creativity to technology innovations that can make a difference in the world today. In 2017, a total of 45 countries participated  with 540 students from all around the world. The competition took place in the capital city of Bucharest, Romania between April 27 and May 2, 2017.

 

A total of 2 projects were accepted in different categories. The team from Vietnam that was represented by Horizon International Bilingual School and Tran Dai Nghia School were trained by Horizon’s experienced ICT department head and project supervisor, Mr Yoldas. The school supported both teams in every manner to ensure the success. As a result of hard work and meaningful projects from Mr  NGUYEN DUC TIEN from Tran Dai Nghia School and Mr LE BA LOC and Mr VAN TIEN SON from Horizon International Bilingual School, the teams won gold and bronze medals.  

 

The project prepared by Mr NGUYEN DUC TIEN from Tran Dai Nghia School involved creation of a short movie with main theme as ‘Triumph over Adversity’. The second project from Horizon International Bilingual School was presented by Mr LE BA LOC and Mr VAN TIEN SON in Computer Art category. Horizon International Bilingual School congratulates students from both schools on their amazing achievment.
