Math Challenge Becomes More Challenging

The success of the first Math Challenge gave an overwhelming impression to the Mathematics and ICT Department Team led by the enthusiastic and cheerful head of the department, Mr. Azat Yazgulyyev. The preparation for the 2nd Math Challenge began right after the first one last week where flaws and other things to improve were raised during the collaborative discussion with colleagues. The success of the meeting was evident in the smiles and learning gained by the participants of the 2nd Math Challenge. The event happened at noon on October 16 where grade 7 participants from different houses were invited to solve mathematical problems which will be verified by the HIBS Math Society members (Grade 9 Students). Each team is comprised of 4 students who worked collaboratively in solving the problems. One member should then give their paper to the assigned Grade 9 students and the latter will verify the response. The task makes it more challenging as students need to shoot their paper in a 3-meter distance box.
