Kids at the Center

At the center of the academe is the learner, and that is exactly where Horizon International Bilingual School had its students during the recently concluded Student-Led Conference in the Hanoi campus on November 1 through 11, 2017. 

The conferences featured each student facilitating a meeting with his/her parents and teachers. It was an occasion where students exuded confidence and showed how they take responsibility for their own learning. They spoke of their activities, achievements, goals, and plans to their parents. They proudly showed their self-prepared portfolios, displaying their work in all subjects, and they further navigated through different online platforms for learning, showcasing their progress in reading and career planning among other things. Each conference closed with all parties ---students, parents, and teachers committing themselves to working together. Concrete steps towards success were outlined with the student at the heart of it all.

This is only one of the ways by which Horizon empowers its students, and they have certainly shown themselves capable.
