A Ghostly Gathering

In the afternoon of Tuesday, October 31, many strange sights were to be seen in the Kindergarten department of Horizon International Bilingual School, Hanoi. Witches, zombies, and several little Spidermen were spotted running around in excitement… The reason? Our Halloween Party! If you were to venture inside, you would have met an array of costumes, games, art, crafts, food and dancing.

Students, parents and teachers all came together for Halloween, began by the Celts many years ago. The Celts celebrated the dead and gave thanks for the harvest on October 31. The thrilling tradition was continued on Tuesday by making scary headbands, participating in traditional Halloween games, and, of course, enjoying a Halloween feast. Many thanks to all who came.
