What makes this morning assembly special? Students were gathered in the ground without having in mind as to what will happen about the program other than singing the Vietnam’s National Anthem. The usual flow of the ceremony was conducted which was led by Mr. Nariman Jambayev and Ms Nguyen Thi Quynh Chi, character education coordinator and primary Vietnamese teacher, respectively. The last part of the ceremony gives astonishment to students as Mr. Nariman announced that today’s ceremony is to honor the house captains. Students were also updated about the points earned by their houses, yellow (125pts.), blue (75pts.), green (50pts.), and red (25pts.).
House leaders (Mr. Alfred Denopol, Mr. Thomas Maybanks, Ms. Tara Maybanks, and Mr. Yakubu Abdulrazak) were called in front to pin the badge to their chosen house captains. Pinning were started with Yellow “Phoenix” House with Ms. Tara and house captains Yang Hyeonseo (Grade 12 International) and Trần Thanh Bình (Grade 11 Bilingual) it was followed by the Blue “Tiger” House with Mr. Alfred and house captains Yang Hyeji and Trần Tuấn Nguyên (Grade 11 International). The floor was then given to the Green “Cobra” House with Mr. Yakubu and his house captain Bùi Minh Hằng (Grade 12 Bilingual). Lastly, the Red “Dragon” House with Mr. Tom with his house captain Jang Hanbyeol (Grade 12 International). Two house captains from Green(Mohamed Ahmed Abdullah Bin Thabit Al Nahd -Grade 12 International) and Red House (Nguyễn Hữu Gia Bách - Grade 11 Bilingual) failed to attend the ceremony due to inevitable circumstances.
