Horizon International Bilingual School was honored to welcome Dr. Phan Thanh Phuoc, Director of Preventive Health Center for District 2, on the 28th of September. Dr Phan Thanh Phuoc taught our students how diseases, which without prevention, can become epidemics.
Dengue – Zika virus
Hand Foot and Mouth disease (HFMD)
The Doctor explained these facts to students, in accordance with their age, while also asking a range of questions to foster awareness of these diseases together. Our students listened and were enthusiastic to answer his questions.
From the discussion, students learned many of the reasons for the spread of these diseases and how to prevent them.
