HIBS Basketball Tournament

With the purpose of creating a healthy environment for students to relax & enjoy after strenuous classes, prolonged lessons; and to seek students with hidden talents to join the School's basketball team and participate in various District and City tournaments, Sports Department and Character Education Department of  Horizon International Bilingual School organized a basketball tournament for Secondary and High school students from November 28th to December 9th.

Games were played in two divisions according to grade levels:

Division "A" for Senior High consisted of teams: Happy Feets (12A), Melo (12A), Chân Lý (Justice - 11A) and Psychopaths (9A).

Division "B" for Junior High consisted of teams: Unknown (8A), Chicago Chickens (7A), HCM Lakers (7A) and The Kiddos (6A).

Selection is done by rounds and serves to pick out 2 best teams of each branch for the Finals. Games concluded with Happy Feets in first place in Division "A"; Psychopaths had second place, Melo got third and Chân Lý got fourth place.

Games in Division "B" ended with Unknown leading, followed by HCM Lakers and Chicago Chickens on third and Kiddos on fourth place.

The MVP prize for Division "A" goes to Lieu Trieu Bao Thien (Jersey No.2) of Psychopaths team and Tran Vo Anh Kiet (Jersey No. 30) of The Kiddos has been selected as the MVP of Division "B".
