The Festival Sports Day was held last November 25 at HCA football stadium, Binh Thanh district, the first of its kind for Horizon International Bilingual School, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Festival Sports Day was held last November 25 at HCA football stadium, Binh Thanh district, the first of its kind for Horizon International Bilingual School, Ho Chi Minh City. This amazing event was made possible through the effort and sponsorship of the school’s Administration led by Mr. Dursun Yildirim, the very energetic and proactive principal of HORIZON, Mr. Ferhat Ozturk, head of school operations, and Mr. Ibadulla Yoldas,the academic director.
Parents, teachers, and students had gathered together during this occasion to show their unwavering support for their respective teams – RED Nation, GREEN Crocs, Yellow Fever, and BLUEtooth. Kudos for the gallant performance of all the teams in every family-oriented, but very competitive games organized by the PE teachers and with Mr. Tai, school’s prefect of discipline. All teams have given so much energy and power to sustain team spirit, camaraderie and sportsmanship all throughout the competition. Some of the games are: BLOW THE BALL, EGG CATCHING, SACK RACE, STREET GAMES (SKILL GAMES), the most coveted of all the games - TUG-OF- WAR and a lot more. Also, the very exciting and fun-filled activity was highlighted by the astonishing “dance performance” and “shout-out” from the members of
the dance club – both primary and high school level. Splendid! At the end, like most game match played around the world, there would always be one (team) to emerge VICTORIOUS - Yellow Team. And they have earned the bragging rights to be called: “The Defending Champions”. Congratulations guys for the job well done!
