Chess tournament at Horizon International Bilingual School

Horizon International Bilingual School Chess tournament was held on 3-7 December for Primary (with 14 contestants) and on 10-15 December, for the Secondary and High School section (with 13 contestants).
Horizon International Bilingual School Chess tournament was held on 3-7 December for Primary (with 14 contestants) and on 10-15 December, for the Secondary and High School section (with 13 contestants).
In the Primary section, the third place game was played between NGUYEN, Bao Khao (Grade 4) and HO, Vu Huong (Grade 4) and Bao Khao won. The final game was played between PHAN, Tuan Kiet (Grade 4) and KIM, Doyoon (Grade 1), where the game and the tournament was won by Kim, Doyoon.
In Secondary and High School, the third place game was played between TRAN, Tuan Nguyen (Grade 10) and PHAM, Duc Minh (Grade 10). Tran, Tuan Nguyen won the game and secured the third place in the tournament. The Final Game was played between BUI, Minh Phuong (Grade 8) and NGUYEN, Lam Thanh (Grade12). They were also finalists of the last year’s School Chess Tournament. Nguyen, Lam Thanh won the game, and became the champion of the tournament.
We congratulate all the participants for their brave attempt to participate and compete in the tournament with a great enthusiasm. All the games were played in a great respectful manner for this reason, we also find it important to appreciate our students for displaying good behaviour and good moral values during the tournament.
