On the last day of school before Tet holiday, Horizon International Bilingual School’s staff and pupils put on our annual Tet celebration and School Charity Fair to resounding success! As part of an ongoing community outreach project designed to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Phu Xuyen Kindergarten in Phu Xuyen, our teachers and students worked together for months to put together a wonderful school fair to give back to those less fortunate members of the community.
From the delicious food to the live music, the fun games to the great environment, the day was simply fantastic but more importantly; profitable! While fun was an essential part of the fair, our primary goal was to raise money and collect donations for the Phu Xuyen Kindergarten at this most special time of year. In that endeavour we were highly successful!
Horizon International Bilingual School managed to raise over 72 million VND in funds for the upgrades and repairs to be made to the Phu Xuyen Kindergarten. Additionally, we collected countless donations in the form of toys, clothes and other necessities required by such a facility.
We would like to thank and congratulate all the staff and students at Horizon International Bilingual School for working so hard and producing such a meaningful outcome. Your efforts will be felt through the years as these young students’ lives are changed forever by your hard work. We would also like to thank the greater Horizon community of parents, friends and guests who attended the fair and provided such generous donations. The success of this event proves, once again, that when we work together as a family anything is possible.
