Horizon International Bilingual School organizes Math Week annually in its aim to make and keep Mathematics approachable and engaging to all of our students. In other words, to encourage and inspire our students towards raising public awareness of the importance of Mathematics.
This year’s Math’s Week was held on 11 - 15 of January and featured a wide variety of activities not only for students and teachers, but also for parents and guests.
The celebration involved mathematical challenges such as Make it 9 and Daily Sudoku for students of different levels to answer. Drawing with Numbers allowed the students to showcase their creativity and skills in the visual arts and got their imagination onto paper.
The highlights of the week were the Pi memorizing and Math league contest where students themselves demonstrated the ability of memorizing long numbers and solving difficult problems. Also students had an extremely exciting Kahoot Competition. Math is simply fun!
